# Privacy and your data

> Canonical: https://pinflag.io/support/privacy-and-data

PinFlag collects the account and golf data it needs to run the product — no more — and never sells it or uses your personal rounds to train third-party AI models. You can export every round you've logged as CSV or JSON at any time, and accounts belonging to golfers under 18 carry extra guardian and data-sharing protections.

## Steps

1. **What PinFlag collects** — Your account details (email, and optionally name and handicap), the golf data you enter (rounds, shots, clubs, goals, notes), payment status from Stripe (never your full card number), and basic product-usage analytics. The full breakdown, including which outside providers PinFlag uses, is in the Privacy Policy.
2. **Export your rounds** — Download everything you've logged as a CSV or JSON file at any time — it's your data, and taking a copy doesn't require contacting support. Exports are rate-limited to prevent abuse, not to make it hard for you specifically.
3. **Accounts for golfers under 18** — PinFlag asks for date of birth at signup and treats an account as a minor's whenever that birthdate — or an unconfirmed one, on the surfaces that must default cautiously — says it might be. Minor accounts get additional guardian-linking and data-sharing protections rather than the adult defaults.
4. **Read the full policy** — For the complete list of what's collected, which outside providers PinFlag uses, and your rights over your data, see the Privacy Policy page.
