PinFlag for Android
An Android version of PinFlag is coming soon. Until it lands you can still use the numbers behind it: the calculator below runs in your Android browser, on the same published baselines the app uses, and prices any shot you give it.

Strokes gained, in your browser
Set the lie and the distance before your shot and where the ball finished. This is the same arithmetic PinFlag runs on the course, and it works on any phone.
Strokes gained, approach
+0.07
Every number comes from the published expected strokes tables. A drive on a 400 yard hole starts at 3.99 expected strokes. From 150 in the fairway you are 2.95 from holing out, and from the rough at the same distance 3.19, so that miss costs 0.25 of a stroke before you have swung again. Ten feet is 1.63 putts. How strokes gained works walks through the formula, and the other calculators all run in an Android browser too.
What the app adds
The calculator prices one shot at a time and forgets it. The app prices the shot you are standing over, on the hole you are playing, with your own distances behind the number and every shot kept so the round adds up. It takes the lie and the distance in two taps, works with no signal, and draws your real dispersion on the hole with Shot Cloud.
That is what the Android build brings across. The full feature list and pricing apply the same way on both platforms.
