The golf app for college golfers

College golf is measured in strokes gained, and PinFlag measures it the way the TOUR does: every shot priced on Mark Broadie’s published baselines, approach play broken down by distance band and club with proximity, the share inside 15 and 30 feet, dispersion circles and lateral and long-short offsets. Tournament mode captures every round in full, and a Facility plan puts every coach and player in a program on one baseline at $299 a month.

On the course

Preview a course before the practice round with every target priced on your own dispersion, then play the tournament round in tournament mode, which logs every shot and distance in full and holds the live number until you finish. Every logged shot records where you aimed as well as where it finished, so on-course dispersion is measured from real competition rounds.

After the round

The per shot list sorts by start distance, lie or proximity, the season view carries the categories across every round against last year, and the Scratch lens reads the round against a scratch level table. A coach on the program sees the roster on one baseline, and players keep their history when they move between coaches.

Proximity is the number

From 150 yards in the fairway the tour average needs 2.945 strokes to hole out, so the finish decides the value of every approach: the table prices the same green hit by where the ball stops, and Insights measures it by distance band and by club with the share inside 15 and 30 feet.

In PinFlag

Every number PinFlag shows college golfers is strokes gained on Mark Broadie’s published PGA TOUR baselines, priced on the same published baselines in the app and on this site and labeled Measured or Estimated so you always know what stands behind it. On the benchmark model a 2 handicap sits 3 strokes a round from the tour average; PinFlag shows which shots.

Frequently asked questions

Which golf app is best for a college golf program?
PinFlag Facility: every coach and player measured in strokes gained on the same TOUR baseline, tournament mode for competition, preview mode for practice rounds, and approach proximity by band and club for the whole roster, at $299 a month for the program.
Does the number match a TOUR stat sheet?
The same framework and the same published baselines, priced at the lie and the distance in front of you in the lie’s own unit, so a number in PinFlag means what the same number means on a TOUR stat sheet.
How is dispersion measured?
From every logged shot, which records the target and the result, and from every imported launch monitor session. Shot Cloud draws the pattern on the hole, and Insights reports the 68 and 95 percent circles by band and club with lateral and long-short offsets.
Can players keep their data if they change coaches?
Yes. Players keep their own history when they move between coaches or leave a program, and every round exports as CSV or JSON on request.
