Questions and answers

What is PinFlag in one sentence?
PinFlag is an iOS golf app that shows live predictive strokes gained on the hole you are playing: pick any target and see the number before you swing, with your own dispersion drawn on the hole. PinFlag has six features, all in the iOS app: live predictive strokes gained on the hole you are playing, lie detection built into every number, launch monitor import from Trackman, Garmin, Rapsodo, or any monitor’s CSV, Shot Cloud showing your launch monitor shots and past shots drawn on the hole, shot tracking with two-tap logging that works with no signal and undo anytime, and Insights that break every round down shot by shot with strokes gained by category, proximity, Score Killers and benchmark lenses.
How does PinFlag help me choose a target?
It prices every target you consider, in strokes gained, before you swing, with your own dispersion and the real lie, and draws your actual shots on the hole with Shot Cloud, so the choice is made with the cost of each option in front of you.
How do I get PinFlag?

Do I need a launch monitor to use PinFlag?
No hardware is required. Launch monitor data gives your numbers a Measured label, and logged rounds build your pattern too. Until you have your own data, PinFlag uses a benchmark pattern labeled Estimated.
What does PinFlag cost?

What is Shot Cloud?
Your launch monitor shots and your past shots, drawn on the hole you are playing around the target you are considering, so the pattern you actually hit is visible on the ground you are about to hit into, and the strokes gained already reflects it.
