Terms of Service

The service

PinFlag is a software-only golf analytics platform. It turns the round data you enter into strokes-gained analytics, benchmarks, and AI-written analysis. PinFlag requires no hardware and is an analytics tool — not a substitute for professional coaching.

Coaching, families & minors

PinFlag supports coaches, players, parents/guardians, and facilities. When a player joins a coach's roster or a facility, or a guardian links to a player, the joining party consents to the corresponding sharing of golf data described in our Privacy Policy. Coach access is editable by the player (who may leave a roster); guardian access is read-only and removable by either side.

Junior golfers should use PinFlag with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or coach. A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use PinFlag is responsible for supervising that use and consents, on the minor's behalf, to the processing described in our Privacy Policy. We provide guardian linkage and read-only oversight to support this.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You own the golf data you enter; you grant us the limited rights needed to process it to provide the service (including sending it to our AI provider to generate your analyses, as described in our Privacy Policy).

Plans, billing & cancellation

• The Free plan includes a limited number of AI analyses and core analytics features.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Downgrades preserve your data but re-apply plan limits.
• Prices may change with notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.

AI-generated analysis

AI analyses are generated from your data and are provided for informational purposes. They may contain errors or omissions. Use your own judgment; PinFlag is not liable for decisions you make based on an AI analysis.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access other users' data, no reverse engineering, no automated scraping, and no uploading unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinFlag is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated, and continued use means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the service at any time, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
