Launch monitors
Range numbers, finally on the course where the decisions happen.
Which launch monitors work with PinFlag?
Trackman, Garmin and Rapsodo files import directly. Every other monitor, SkyTrak and Foresight included, imports through a mapped CSV: you tell PinFlag which column is the club and which is the carry, set the units, and the session comes in, up to 5,000 shots at a time.
What does PinFlag do with a launch monitor session?
It turns the session into a per-club pattern: carries, spread and gapping, labeled Measured. Those patterns then stand behind every predictive strokes gained number on the course and every dot in Shot Cloud. Outliers are flagged for you to judge rather than silently deleted, so the pattern is yours in every sense.
Do I need a launch monitor to use PinFlag?
No launch monitor is required: PinFlag prices every target with a benchmark dispersion pattern labeled Estimated, and logged rounds produce full strokes gained on their own. A launch monitor makes the pattern yours and moves the label to Measured, and on-course shots you log build your pattern too.
Does PinFlag show club gapping?
Yes. Per-club carries from your imported sessions make a twenty-yard hole between two clubs visible at once, which is invisible on a range where every ball is a fresh attempt at the same target. The free launch monitor analyzer on pinflag.io reads a session export in the browser and flags gaps with what each pattern costs in strokes.
Can PinFlag import Trackman data?
Yes, directly. A Trackman session export imports as it is, becomes a per-club Measured pattern, and from then on prices every target you aim at on the course with your real carries and spread.
